Princess was born in 2013 and is a beautiful black-and-white, short-haired tuxedo girl. Her story with me actually started with a newspaper ad for 6-week-old kittens. I was only planning to bring home one kitten, but Princess and her brother, Stark, were the last two left. Somehow, I went from looking for one kitten to bringing home two! 😻
From that day on, Princess has been a constant part of my life.
Sadly, Stark got out during a snowstorm in 2016. I was lucky enough to see him a few times afterward, but he never found his way back home. Princess stayed by my side, and over the years she's been there through plenty of changes — different homes, new chapters, and several feline siblings.
These days, Princess knows exactly what she likes: catnip, laser pointers, chin rubs, and nightly snuggles. 😻
But perhaps what makes Princess most special is the role she has quietly played all these years. Through all the changes life has brought, she has been my tried-and-true comfort companion — and I’ve been hers.
Some cats are playful troublemakers. Some are the center of attention. And some simply have a way of being there when you need them most.
Princess is that cat. ❤️
