🐾 Meet Neom
Neom was a handsome gray-and-black tabby, born in 2005. He grew up as the family cat, so he was part of our lives from the very beginning.
When our family split in 2010, Neom went to live with my sister, where he continued to be a much-loved member of the family.
Neom was definitely an adventurous soul — and a very skilled hunter! He loved exploring and was always happy to bring home little “presents” for our mom. 😹 Apparently, in Neom's mind, there was nothing quite like showing off a successful hunt.
When Prints came along in 2017, Neom had another important role to play. He helped welcome and raise the younger cat, becoming an older feline companion and mentor to Prints.
Neom passed away in 2021, but he left behind many wonderful memories — from his adventurous personality and hunting skills to the special bond he shared with Prints.
🐾 Meet Prints
Prints was born in 2017 and is an all-black cat with a personality that is completely his own.
He's had some kidney issues over the years, which has understandably caused my sister plenty of worry and stress. But Prints has continued to show everyone that he's going to do things his way.
He's not much of a snuggle bug, and he's very particular about his toys. His favorite? Not some fancy cat toy — give him a crinkled index card and he's perfectly happy. 😹
And then there's his questionable snack preference...
Prints has been known to try to steal a potato chip right out of the bag. 🥔😂
Because apparently, if the humans are eating it, it must be worth investigating!
Neom and Prints may have very different personalities, but their story is connected in a special way. Neom helped raise Prints, and even though Neom is no longer with us, that bond remains part of Prints' story.
And that's what makes these “cousin” cats so special. They may not all have shared the same home, but they're all connected through our family and the many cats who have been part of our lives over the years. ❤️🐾
