The Bookstore Cat
Every old bookstore has its secrets. Sterling just happens to know where they’re hidden.
Meet Sterling, a distinguished tuxedo cat who spends his days wandering the narrow aisles of an old independent bookstore. Between towering shelves, rolling ladders, glowing reading lamps, and precarious stacks of well-loved books, Sterling has made the shop entirely his own.
But one evening, during his usual rounds, Sterling discovers something unusual—a faded green book that refuses to stay on its shelf.
What he finds tucked between its pages uncovers a forgotten piece of the bookstore’s past and reminds its owner why the little shop was opened in the first place.
Sterling and the Book That Wouldn’t Stay Put is a cozy story about old books, unexpected discoveries, quiet places, and the stories that have a way of finding us when we need them.
The accompanying artwork captures Sterling in his favorite place: surrounded by endless shelves and warm pools of lamplight, with another mystery waiting somewhere among the stacks.
Perfect for book lovers, cat lovers, independent bookstore dreamers, and anyone who would happily spend an afternoon getting lost between the shelves.
Because sometimes you don’t find the right story. The right story finds you.
